Ubuntu 7.10 more affectionately called Gusty Gibbons was released today. It is phenomenal how a open source community can consistently deliver new OS releases. I have not used a lot of Linux distributions, but Ubuntu has improved consistently. I can say with confidence that it is ready for the masses. I encourage everyone to try to Ubuntu, you can download it and try it without installing it.
